Ambientaria launches a full range of Services

Since last Friday, Ambientaria now has a new section, called “Services“.

Basically, we are now offering a range of services such as flyer design or album cover design at very low prices (for instance, designing a flyer would cost 5€ only).

We believe that it will be useful to many artists, labels or event managers, while providing us substantial funds in order to eventually make physical releases. Moreover, we’re looking forward to extending this range of services to satisfy everyone’s demand : don’t hesitate to share your ideas and requests.

NB : we’re opened to working on non-Dark Ambient projects

We’re working on Dark Ambient T-Shirts !

Well, now it’s official : Ambientaria Records is working on Dark Ambient T-Shirts ! Attention : we’re not talking about “Ambientaria T-Shirts” or anything with the Ambientaria label on it. No. These will be 100% Dark Ambient stuffs.

The idea had first been proposed on the Facebook Dark Ambient group (a very good group I can only recommend), so I would like to thank all of those who keep supporting this project from its start a few months ago.

We’re going to make two different designs : a “I ❤ Dark Ambient” one and another darker one. Since the first one is already finished, I thought it was a good idea to share it with you (both the black version and the white one)…

EDIT (02/08/2011) : Ambientaria will propose the “I ❤ Dark Ambient” t-shirts only. In the future we may be revealing a third design.

“Remember Chernobyl” project – Results and Acknowledgments

Many of you have closely followed the “Remember Chernobyl (1986-2011)” charity project organized by Ambientaria Records, which consisted in the release of a 19-tracks dark ambient compilation in order to raise money for the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster.

This album was released both as a digital version still available on CDBaby.com and as a 50-copies limited CD, which is now sold out.

More than $850 were raised thanks to this venture (read the detailed official benefit report). As a consequence, we thought it would be good to look back on this project and draw some conclusions.

Xun & Backyard Ghost featured on the ‘Koumyou – Dark Artists for Japan Earthquake Relief’ compilation

Dear Dark Fellows,

I am pleased to announce you that two Ambientaria Artists, Xun and Backyard Ghost, have been featured on a Dark Ambient Charity compilation whose benefits go towards the Japan Earthquake victims, a bit like what we had organized with the “Remember Chernobyl” Compilation.

This compilation, organized by Tom Zm (of Tribes of Medusa), is named “Koumyou – Dark Artists for Japan Earthquake Relief“. We would like to invite you to buy this compilation in order to help the victims of the Earthquake. The album costs around $10 only for 47 songs !

Xun’s Frameworks to be the OST for the GLASSWORKS webseries

Ambientaria Records’ recently-signed artist ‘Xun‘ will be releasing his new album, entitled ‘Frameworks’, on July 21st.

At the same time shall be revealed the first episode of a dark ambient scifi webseries directed by Ghostronaut Prod, named GLASSWORKS, whose soundtrack will be extracted from Xun’s upcoming release! We’re very proud of this collaboration, so we thought you would enjoy watching the trailer for this series (see above).

Chernobyl Charity CDs are ready ! (Chernobyl 25th Anniversary project)

Dear Followers,

As you know we’re running a Charity project for the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl Nuclear Accident, whose benefits will be reversed to the Chernobyl Children International NGO, in order to help the Children sick because of radioactivity-related diseases. It is for us an occasion to release a limited hand-numbered physical edition of this compilation.

The CDs are ready for a few hours now.

More than 40 (out of 50) of them have already been reserved (this was possible for two weeks), but you can still take your chance to grab one of the few copies left on the official reservation page.

News about the Chernobyl Charity Compilation CD-Rs

Many of you have already reserved the physical (2 CD-Rs) version of the Chernobyl Charity Compilation that Ambientaria Records is organizing for the 25th Anniversary of the Chernobyl Event.

They should be ready within a few days (maybe even tomorrow !). Indeed, I have just received (see picture above) the professionally-printed artwork for the album.
